Disney has announced the second song for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Electric Mayhem will perform "Born To Be Wild" featuring Camilla the Chicken when the attraction opens summer 2026 at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The 1968 Steppenwolf classic joins the previously announced "Song 2" by Blur on the track list.

"Born To Be Wild" is one of rock music's most recognizable anthems, known for its driving guitar riff and rebellious spirit. The song's high-energy tempo and motorcycle-riding lyrics fit perfectly with the coaster's race across Hollywood.

Electric Mayhem's version will feature Camilla the Chicken, who is Gonzo's long-time companion and has appeared in Muppet productions since the 1970s.

Two Tracks Confirmed, More Coming

Disney is revealing songs one at a time leading up to a major announcement on April 16. So far, the confirmed tracks are:

  • "Song 2" by Blur
  • "Born To Be Wild" featuring Camilla the Chicken

More Reveals Coming

Disney continues to build anticipation for the April 16 full track list announcement. The gradual reveals allow fans to speculate about remaining songs and which Muppet characters might appear.

Previous artwork featured potential clues pointing to artists including Kelly Clarkson, Lenny Kravitz, and Def Leppard, though these remain unconfirmed.

Summer 2026 Opening

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens summer 2026 at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The attraction is expected to debut around Memorial Day weekend based on the construction timeline.

Is that a new logo for Rock Around the Shop? It looks fantastic. THIS is evocative of psychedelic art in a way the guitar is not, especially that font choice! 😍

If it isn’t the old guys, I’d take Gonzo somewhere like Groot in MB.

How dare he try to get Big Bird cooked and eaten. I don't know what Camilla saw in that turkey.

I think they’re treating this as a new attraction, whereas they did not treat BTMRR that way. And I’d say they’re right in that assessment. This will be a fundamentally different experience, BTMRR was not. That said, I do not expect this VQ to last long. A week at most.

but was closed for much longer.. and is more popular overall. And even BTMRR waits easily eased once the initial surge was over..

I don’t see that as odd, really. BTMRR didn’t go through nearly as much of a change as this did.

wouldn't that be odd if they used VQ here while they opened BTMRR without? I guess ride density differences between the parks.. but..

There appears to be a Virtual Queue ready in MDE's data feed for Muppets RnRC.

The roller coaster cars all line up next to each other at the end like Ellen's Energy Adventure, and we're finally treated to the 45-minute concert we were promised!
