FØØD by Swedish Chef Color Scheme and Signage Revealed
Posted: Thursday May 14, 2026 10:37am ET by WDWMAGIC Staff

A first look at the new FØØD by Swedish Chef kiosk is now visible in the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster courtyard at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The kiosk doesn't appear fully complete yet, but the new signage and color scheme are now visible ahead of the May 26, 2026, opening.

The kiosk features a clean white and blue striped design with pink accents, a significant departure from the previous KRNR The Rock Station look. Blue and white vertical stripes run across the serving counter panels and awning, with bright pink trim adding a pop of color.

A line drawing of the Swedish Chef himself is visible on the side of the kiosk.

Full menu details will be released in Disney's official Foodie Guide before the May 26 opening. Based on the previous KRNR The Rock Station offerings, the menu is expected to feature casual snacks, frozen drinks, and alcoholic beverages with a Muppets-inspired twist. We do have one dish already revealed - a Muppet-inspired churro.

FØØD by Swedish Chef opens alongside Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets on May 26, 2026, at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Annual Passholder previews for the attraction begin May 21, with DVC Member priority access on May 24.

Just wait until someone noticed Animal throws the Shocker and we have a weirdly CG Animal hand for the next 20 years

I have said before they should have ditched the rotounda video idea because the move stream thing is odd and the material would have gone better in the carport queue where there is nothing. Many have mentioned the pre-show staging was terrible. Sad zero was done about it.

In the Aerosmith version, the screen was further back and the band was framed center screen. In the new one the screen is closer and the band is framed to the bottom of the screen to match the depth at which the screen was placed. As well as the fact that Muppets are short. The penguins at the mixing board and Scooter are also low so that they don’t block the screens behind them.

It's the muppets.

How is it different than the Aerosmith version? I'm asking genuinely, as it seems pretty similar in terms of use of space and viewpoints.

It is indeed poorly staged I won’t argue that at all, but I do think the amount of “you can’t see anything from the back” is being a little over reported. It’s not quite that bad.

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this. If you are not right up to the window you cannot see Scooter or the penguins or the band members on the screen because everyone standing right up to the window is blocking your view. You can only see Kermit and whatever other character calls in on their respective screens. I also think they should really consider putting those videos that are on the rotunda screens spliced in to a longer loop that plays on the screens outside in the queue.

Its the most Henson thing about the project, because it basically reversed the idea of The Waldo Tech and artform.

Glad to hear it. It being back that soon means its more likely a stress hiccup rather than who knows when.

Yeti is on permanent disability, still stuck in workers comp courts since some think he can rehab and some don’t.
