The restrooms located in the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster courtyard area at Disney's Hollywood Studios are currently closed for refurbishment.

A sign outside the facilities directs guests to alternative restroom locations nearby. No reopening date has been announced.

A sign posted outside the closed restrooms directs guests to two alternative locations:

Restrooms at Villains Unfairly Ever After
Restrooms next to Tower of Terror

Both locations are within walking distance of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster courtyard on Sunset Boulevard.

The closure comes during a busy summer period for the attraction, which only opened in its new Muppets incarnation on May 26, 2026.

Disney has not announced a timeline for the refurbishment or when the restrooms will reopen.

I never had much love for the Aerosmith version. The theming did nothing for me, by the time I started going to WDW it felt so archaic as well. And the coaster is fun but so fast it was an easy skip for me. The Muppets theme has made it much more fun for me and I enjoy basically every aspect of the inside queue, pre show and ride now. It even feels a bit longer, although I know it’s not, just because I look forward to the gags in the ride and they make me laugh. To sum up: a C+ to a B+ for me. Great update.

I'm fairly certain your brother is correct, though I have no backup for this claim other than my sometimes foggy memory. I can't remember which song originally had the countdown, but it was always my favorite part, so I do recall being pleasantly surprised when it started showing up before all the songs.

I also wanted to report back, I’ve been scared of this ride for more then 20 years. This trip that happened a month ago, I’m happy to say I did Rock N Roller Coaster for the first time. I absolutely loved it, this was my first looping coaster. I’m a pretty big muppets fan so I had little doubt I’d not like the theming. I never got to see Scooter working the first time the preshow was down fully. The second time I got to see the preshow with a B-Mode Scooter. 1st Song: Rock Rock Till You Drop 2nd Song: Born to be Wild. I have no connection to the ride as it was when it was Aerosmith but I really enjoyed the coaster. It might be my favorite or close to favorite ride in the studios. Loved the muppetisms even though you can tell it wasn’t the most transformative change.

The reused graphic here is incredibly lazy and not befitting the Muppet Labs bottle design, which itself isn't accurate, having little to do with the Swedish Chef. It's almost as if Imagineering/Disney doesn't have a competent branding specialist, or that they were not consulted prior to this product release, which will likely go through at least two more revisions before settling into a standard 16oz clear plastic cup design, somehow priced $2 more than when it first launched. It has an early 2000s "slime craze" toy consumer products vibe. I hate it, along with most of the silly popcorn bucket releases, though this one is especially egregious because it still doesn't explain what FØØD is as an in-universe meta-concept brand. I really don't get what they're going for here. But I'm sure the masses will eat it up along with that weird churro thing. At-least the coaster overlay was mostly successful.

I'd forgotton there were restrooms there anyway, that side of the park seems to have a lot of them! Feels like we always used the ones by the ToT entrance archway, or half-way down Sunset Blvd.
