Walt Disney Imagineering has filed another new Notice of Commencement tied to work at Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, continuing a steady flow of permits connected to the attraction's upcoming reimagining.

The latest filing lists the scope of work as "Install Set Elements" and is assigned to Job Richards Company, a frequent Walt Disney Imagineering vendor known for fabrication and installation work across multiple Disney projects.

This is now the second recent permit specifically focused on set element installation at Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

The filing follows earlier visible changes inside the attraction, including the permanent closure of the Aerosmith preshow and the installation of themed G-Force Records panels blocking views into the former recording studio C.

Muppets Reimagining

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is scheduled to close on March 2, 2026, with March 1, 2026 as the final day of operation for the Aerosmith version. The attraction will reopen in summer 2026 as Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.

The new version will introduce a redesigned preshow, new scenes, and Muppet Audio-Animatronics, including Scooter. The preshow area is expected to be one of the most heavily modified spaces, making the recent concentration of set-related permits notable.

Didn't Alan Young pass away in 2016, meaning bringing him back wasn't an option anyway (in comparison, Steve Whitmire's alive and still active)? Plus, Scrooge certainly hasn't had a consistent voice after Alan Young passed away, with John Kassir voicing him in the Paul Rudish shorts and Mickey's Halloween celebration, Enn Reitel in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Kingdom Hearts III, and Dance Your DuckTales, Eric Bauza in Legend of the Three Caballeros, and Alan D Marriott in Disney Speedstorm. Even David Tennant has been sometimes voicing him outside DuckTales 2017 like in the recent Rescue Rangers movie and Chibiverse.

As is over half of the town. It's all basically controlled by the school up on the hill that has more money than they know what to do with/legally are allowed to keep... (except pay their school staff well apparently....:rolleyes:)

After watching that video and reading the comments, I must have been on it a bit before the 2016 version, there were only 3 singing cows and they weren't that annoying. The rest seems fine and....expected for what it is IMO.
