Disney has announced Annual Passholder preview dates for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Passholders can experience the reimagined attraction on May 21, 22, and 23 before it officially opens to all guests on May 26, 2026.

Access will be through a virtual queue system with three daily distribution times, and complimentary attraction photos will be available during the preview period.

Preview Dates and Virtual Queue

Passholder previews take place May 21-23 at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Access requires joining a virtual queue through the My Disney Experience app, with three daily distribution opportunities:

7:00 am Distribution

  • Available to Passholders with a Disney's Hollywood Studios park reservation for that day
  • No park entry required to join the queue

11:00 am Distribution

  • Available to Passholders with a park reservation to any theme park for that day
  • Must enter the reserved park before visiting Hollywood Studios

3:00 pm Distribution

  • Available to any Passholder with valid admission
  • No park reservation required

No Virtual Queue After Previews

The virtual queue will only be used during the May 21-23 preview period. When Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets officially opens May 26, no virtual queue is planned. Guests will access the attraction through the standard standby queue.

Complimentary Attraction Photos

Passholders participating in previews will receive complimentary downloads of their Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets attraction photos. Disney PhotoPass Service will capture the experience, with free downloads available only during the May 21-23 preview dates.

This represents a bonus for Passholders, as attraction photos typically require purchase or a Memory Maker package.

How to Participate

To experience the Passholder previews:

  1. Make a theme park reservation for Disney's Hollywood Studios if planning to join the 7:00 am distribution
  2. Open the My Disney Experience app at one of the three distribution times
  3. Request to join the virtual queue
  4. Wait for your boarding group to be called
  5. Visit Rock 'n' Roller Coaster when your group is ready

You do not need to be inside a theme park to join the virtual queue at any of the three distribution times.

Just a guess, but it's a glorious three-hour finale.

Sorry man, I’m not shilling for views, subscribers, swag, or access like the majority of these vloggers are. Don’t put me in the same boat as them.

I dunno, how many parks fans resemble those two? 50%? 90%? Maybe it's just the arguments in print form, but disgruntled seems to be something we have in common? "will be everywhere" That wasn't half bad. It wasn't half good either!

Truly impeccable timing having discussions yesterday about the booths outside not matching, and those going behind hedges today 👀

I want them in one of the 12 rows, heckling the whole ride. “It was…short? We loved it!”

Early spoiler warning: There’s still at least one more major reveal for Rock 'n'. I expect not everyone will want to know before riding. No photos or videos from CM previews, but descriptions will be. Once the first riders get off, this one specific thing will be everywhere, so be ready for spoilers in a few days.

You're correct, that's true! I wasn't really thinking of them because I don't really in my brain consider them vloggers/bloggers even though they...very much are on the face of it. So great point! They're great examples of how to do that in a way that's honest and un-intrusive.
