Bluey's Wild World Virtual Queue Getting Easier to Secure at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Inside Bluey's Wild World at Conservation Station in Disney's Animal Kingdom

If you missed out on a Bluey's Wild World boarding group during the opening days, there is good news. The 10am virtual queue drop is now staying open significantly longer, making it much easier to secure a spot at Conservation Station.

While the 7am drop continues to sell out in seconds, the 10am drop has become considerably more accessible over the past two days.

How Long the 10am Drop is Lasting

The trend is moving in the right direction for guests:

  • May 27: The 10am virtual queue remained open for more than 30 minutes
  • May 28: The 10am virtual queue stayed open for 90 minutes

Yesterday's 30-minute window was already a significant improvement over opening day. Today's 90-minute availability makes securing a boarding group at 10am straightforward for anyone at that time.

The extended 10am window changes the planning calculus for Bluey's Wild World considerably. Rather than needing to be at your phone at exactly 7am with the app pre-loaded and ready, you now have a much more relaxed opportunity to join the queue later in the day.

The 7am Drop Still Sells Out Fast

The 7am drop continues to reach capacity in seconds and remains the better option if you want maximum flexibility on the day.

For guests already planning to be at Disney's Animal Kingdom, the 10am drop is now a reliable backup that does not require split-second timing.

Standby Queue Still Coming

Disney has confirmed a standby queue will be added at a later date. No timeline has been given, but the easing of virtual queue demand at the 10am drop suggests the initial opening surge is beginning to settle.

Until the standby queue launches, the 10am virtual queue drop is shaping up to be the most practical way to experience Bluey's Wild World for most guests.

My local zoo has a walk through wallaby & red kangaroo exhibit that opened about 15 years ago. Fortunately there hasn’t been any brawls between the Aussies and deranged humans. The only time there’s any rowdiness is when the male Wallaby, Rocket, is in the mood. He likes to try and mate with anyone and anything. But yeah no dukes so far.

The Gene Kelly animatronic is long gone.

While it says they eventually plan for it to be unguided, I'm positive they'll still have staff stationed throughout to make sure guests don't do anything they shouldn't. They have to protect the animals too (more important than protecting the people, really). I'm also guessing it will stay very low capacity. Higher than it is in this test period, but it almost has to be significantly limited in terms of how many people can walk through at a time. Still wouldn't be surprised to see it shut down with how badly behaved some people are at Disney, but who knows.

I’m not used to seeing you have this vibe on here omg But yeah, if it goes to hell in a handbasket, I’ll eat crow as well

They don’t know how to paint a wall people won’t pick the paint off of. Or design queue elements and games people won’t destroy. Is a person who swings from a light pole (which I’ve seen) safe around a kangaroo? I’d love to be pleasantly surprised here. Happy to come back in a year and admit I was wrong if so.

We’ll see but I really struggle to imagine Disney can’t figure out how to prevent this when so many other places already have.

RELEASE THE BABY!!!

Yes, and yet when a poorly supervised child inevitably charges at a kangaroo and gets punched, it’ll make national news. There’s no way this lasts long. Look around WDW. Too many feral people.

They are far from the only place where you can get up close and personal with kangaroos. The zoo in Nashville also lets you go into an enclosure with them and walk right up to them and touch them if they allow. This is an experience that is offered at dozens of zoos around the world.

I actually really wondered if they thought this through when i first heard about it

Sooner or later we're going to hear of a toddler carried of in a kangaroo pouch.

Great insight! The current limited experience actually sounds quite neat!

Apparently Jumpin’ Junction has soft opened. Unclear how many guests have already been punched.
