Cinderella Castle Stage Work Temporarily Halts Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire at Magic Kingdom

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire is currently on a brief hiatus as work takes place on the Cinderella Castle stage at Magic Kingdom. The stage show has been paused through May 18, 2025.

Disney plans to resume performances starting May 19, with the following showtimes currently listed:

  • Morning: 10:00 am, 11:10 am
  • Afternoon: 12:45 pm, 1:45 pm, 4:00 pm

The surface of the stage has to be re-gritted every year. It’s safety critical, but takes a beating with dancers up there 5 shows a day.

That's what can happen when you rush back before you're fully ready. Hopefully he completes his stint in rehab this time and is good to go for many years to come afterwards.

Last summer. Very sad to see a second stint of rehab for Mickey so soon. Never fully recover, I suppose.
