Vacation Fun with Mickey and Minnie Set to Reopen December 27 at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Vacation Fun - An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie is scheduled to reopen at Disney's Hollywood Studios on December 27, following its temporary closure earlier this fall.

When it returns, Vacation Fun is listed with operating hours from 8:30am to 8:00pm on December 27.

Located near Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, Vacation Fun features a collection of original Mickey Mouse animated shorts using the same visual style as the nearby attraction. The venue also includes themed photo backdrops inspired by the shorts.

The reopening adds another indoor attraction option to Disney's Hollywood Studios during the busy holiday period, just days before the New Year crowds arrive.

Was the outpost a rain location for characters? If not there looks like a lot of room for the shop to exist without getting in the way of characters.

Doing so would have impacted all the meet and greets that take place around Echo Lake. One of the rare times where Entertainment was prioritized over an Attraction.

The SKUs were really quite limited, could have probably done it in the old Indiana Jones store instead of closing an attraction

Can't help but feel this is one of those attractions (of many in DHS) that could easily be added to the seasonal offerings with a flip of a switch, changing out "Vacation Fun" for "Duck the Halls: A Mickey Mouse Christmas Special" during Jollywood Nights or other Christmastime celebrations.

It’s frustrating to see classics like the Dino’s in universe of energy, muppets, and Tom Sawyer island get destroyed while vacation and Pixar shorts play to empty theaters. “But the space was underutilized” is harder to justify

The epcot one annoys me so much. If you're going to let it be a low traffic attraction then at least just stick Honey I Shrunk the Audience back on. It costs no more or less to operate for goodness sake.
