Disney's Animal Kingdom Bats Exhibit Closing for Refurbishment

Disney has announced that the bats exhibit at Maharajah Jungle Trek in Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be temporarily closed for refurbishment beginning Monday, February 17, 2025.

The work is expected to be brief, with the exhibit set to reopen in early March 2025. While the bats area is closed, the rest of the Maharajah Jungle Trek will remain open, allowing guests to see other wildlife along the walking trail.

Disney has not specified the nature of the refurbishment, but similar updates in the past have focused on habitat enhancements and maintenance.
