Disney removes more physical distancing and masks signage from Magic Kingdom

Health and safety signs removed from Main Street U.S.A.

Main Street U.S.A. at the Magic Kingdom is now essentially free from any COVID-19 related health and safety signage.

The garbage cans that line Main Street U.S.A. have doubled as COVID-19 safety posters since the park reopened in mid-2020.

Disney has been working overnight to remove the signs and restore the park to a pre-COVID appearance.

The posters reminded guests to wear face coverings, wash hands, and maintain physical distancing.

I know this thread is referring to WDW, but at DL the trams aren't running either. Per my phone, it was 1.3 miles of walking to get from my car to the front gate of the parks at DL. So if you include there and back again, that's 2 1/2 miles. Which is 2 1/2 miles more of the park that could be enjoyed that didn't need to be walked to and from the parking structure, no matter how good your physical condition may be. The trams are needed.

I mean... I understand the sentiment but you're going to a theme park that requires lots of walking. If someone is physically unable to walk to the front of the park before needing to rent a wheel chair, they should probably have that handled before arriving at the park.

Oh, I don't know, maybe for the elderly...young children...those with mobility issues. But yeah, screw 'em for a few extra bucks of profit. You're really walking the walk with that inclusion key there, Disney.

Anyone know the reason why the Mexico Pavilion is still having guests wait in line to get in? I thought distancing was relaxed?

Yep, it is all just a matter of labor now to rip these things down. Probably a safe bet that give it another week, and everything will be gone.

Reportedly the plexiglass in queue lines of Haunted Mansion, BTMRR and Peter Pan are now gone.

Captain BarbossaJun 22, 2021

Lol, maybe, but my sniffer works just fine with the masks I wear/wore.

GimpYancIentJun 22, 2021

It's the masks not the social distancing that obscured aromas.

Captain BarbossaJun 22, 2021

I’m sure gonna miss social distancing. It really was nice not to be able to smell other guests.

…oh brooke… its not “the first time” at all…you’re just obsessed 👍🏻

I am waiting to see when they get moved to Living W The Land to protect the growing produce.

Everything is a day-by-day change right now but when I rode Safari on Saturday afternoon they were still there.

dreday3Jun 22, 2021

Sorry if I missed this - have the plastic barriers been removed from the Safari vehicles?
