Disney Helicopter Flies Over Magic Kingdom for Promo Shoot

Disney has released new aerial footage of Magic Kingdom, giving a unique look at the park from above. The video, shot in 2024, highlights recent changes and familiar sights.

The video opens with a pass down Main Street, U.S.A., and includes a look at Tiana's Bayou Adventure, TRON Lightcycle Run, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Happily Ever After fireworks.

As part of “big top bash” at storybook circus I saw a stiltwalker and jugglers out today. I’m sure the performers rotate but today they were the “Juggling Jacks” who regularly appear at the Boardwalk as well.

The team of managers and techs screams 3rd party to me. Disney's previous Equity agreements I've read didn't cover a 3rd party act specifically (just a very specific list of Disney-employed acts/shows), but I don't have access to the current one so I can't say 100% if it is the case currently. I doubt it would.

Regarding the New Orleans Marching band and singer - they are quite good. Was lovely to hear them while waiting in line for my last raft over to the island this weekend. I’m actually not sure if they are 3rd party or CM’s - were there any auditions out for these parts? A mic’d singer in the park should be equity I believe. One issue - they clearly are New Orleans - and are actually better at accurately representing New Orleans than the Disneyland entertainment in New Orleans Square. But they march all through Frontierland and then perform in front of big thunder - which is makes no sense theme wise. The previous Banjo Brothers and Bob fit in anywhere in Frontierland. I’ll also mention they have a team of managers and tech.’s with them which is overkill for what this is - the manager aggressive yelling “step to the right” is not necessary.
