Transportation and Ticket Center bus stop refurbishment - March 2022
Posted: Friday April 8, 2022 9:18am ET by WDWMAGIC Staff

The Transportation and Ticket Center continues to get some much-needed attention, with the bus stops now being refurbished.

Over the last month, construction crews have replaced all the concrete at the bus stops.

These bus stops located to the right side of the monorail stations are typically used for overflow bus transport to Magic Kingdom and during special events.

Over the last year, Disney has been gradually refreshing the TTC with new paint throughout the outdoor areas and inside the monorail station.

In prior years, yes they have been, haven’t been around the TTC this week to get current status.

Are they in use these next couple week? If they aren't, they aren't needed.

Those ticket booths are all needed during busy times, but they could use a facelift.

With the nearby road construction work nearly complete now, what's the chance we get a refurbishment to the TTC soon? It's severely outdated and looks abandoned with all the ticket booths empty. Removing some of the ticket booths, adding new color schemes, etc. could make it a much better first impression for lots of guests.

The TTC is also where charter buses and city buses drop off customers.

They were just setting a time and place of the south seas... Just turns out that time and place was the Solomon Islands 1942... ;)

The gotta refurbished them since they will soon be charging to use the buses. ;)

I feel like the TTC is constantly getting refurbished. I was there just a few years ago and remember them starting construction at 7am not far from my room at the Poly. Relaxing south seas vibe it was not.

That'll totally fix 'em, huh? Why is it so hard to fix? The should have a few extra from the epcot entrance project 🤣

Busses to other parks used to run to TTC instead of MK. Also they will sometimes run busses between TTC and MK if it’s busy or the monorail/ferry goes down.

G00fyDadApr 08, 2022

Not to sound ignorant here but... they have bus stops at the TTC and right next to MK entrance?

Those used to be old style LED signs before they broke and got covered up

TikibirdLandApr 08, 2022

Looking at that last photo of the sign... Are they in the middle of a repaint on it? You can't read the word, "epcot". What's hiding underneath that blue tape?
