Disney's Animal Kingdom has a new addition on Kilimanjaro Safaris. A young Ankole calf named Cinnamon is now out on the savanna, and you can spot her on your next ride.
Ankole cattle — recognizable by their striking, wide-sweeping horns — are native to the Great Lakes region of Africa. The calves are born a rich reddish-brown color, which is almost certainly where Cinnamon got her name.
In the photos shared by Disney, Cinnamon is seen staying close to her mother.
She's small but already on her feet and exploring the habitat. You can see tiny horn buds starting to form, a hint of the dramatic horns she'll develop as she grows.
Cinnamon is currently visible to guests on the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Animal sightings are never guaranteed on any given ride, but keep your eyes on the Ankole herd as you pass through.
