Disney has released a new video featuring actor Josh Gad taking on the role of a Kilimanjaro Safaris guide at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The clip shows Gad surprising guests as they embark on an expedition through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve.

Kilimanjaro Safaris is one of Animal Kingdom's signature attractions, offering guests a chance to see animals in a setting designed to resemble their natural habitats. The experience, which typically features trained Cast Members as guides, takes visitors through open plains, forests, and wetlands as they learn about conservation efforts and the diverse species that call the reserve home.

I wish they would bring back the part where the driver turned on the radio:

I’m the guy who finds everything about Gad unpleasant. So maybe I’d love his face, voice and acting on the safari?!

let’s see… very talented broadway actor. Very talented voice actor. Loves the muppets. Loves the parks. And he seems like a genuinely great guy!

I earned eternal respect for him after a Disney Dish episode where he lamented the loss of Maelstrom. You know. The attraction that gave way to an attraction that one of his characters features in prominently. He seemed genuinely sad the ride had to go away. I mean, he could have named any handful of rides but he really singled out that one. Thought it was an honest and classy move of his.

But if they stuff all the animals and put them on sticks they could move them around with timers and triggers. Bet they could put it on a track to eliminate the driver and just have screenz inside with a talking head doing the spiel -magical

I wish I could have been on that Safari!

I'm not sure they could even do that -- it's too unpredictable with live animals. A taped spiel could be completely off from what guests are actually seeing. Also (and probably more importantly), they have to have someone driving the vehicle anyways.

Don't even speak those words!! haha
