This weekend, the Indiana Jones Epcot Stunt Spectacular makes its long-awaited return to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Disney has shared a new video offering a look behind-the-scenes as the cast and crew rehearse for the show, which has been dark since March 2020.

Disney took the show's downtime to refresh every set piece and update the sound and lighting systems. There have also been some tweaks to the staging of some scenes and updates to the script to make some of the filming aspects more relevant to today's audience.

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! will reopen to guests on December 19 2021, with 5 shows daily, at 12pm, 1:15pm, 3:15pm, 4:45pm, and 6pm.

Same here. I think that's all depending on how the new movie does though. If it doesn't do well, then Indy's future in the parks is going to be stored away next to the Ark of the Covenant. :/

That’s awesome!

Trying to figure out where that photo in WDWMagic's post was taken... Looks like it is completely indoors.

Kevin and Michele were also interviewed by THR at the premiere.

He didn't during the show I attended earlier in January. They also had to cancel both the rooftop chase and the aircraft scenes due to 'technical difficulties.' Still fun to have it back.

Yes he arrives from the roof area

Was there yesterday at 4:55? showing the temple scene was there, although (correct me if I’m wrong) Indy is supposed to fall in from the ceiling via rope? If I’m not making that up in my head that was missing along with what you had mentioned about the pilot.

I was there for one of the last shows of the day on Saturday and they tried several takes to get the Giant boulder to roll out in the temple scene but there were mechanical issues.

mm52200Jan 31, 2022

Most likely just a day of issue. Wouldn’t read too much into it.

Not sure how long this has been going on for, but apparently at least as of yesterday, the opening temple scene is missing, and the pilot in the finale does not go through the prop.

The Rocketeer spent time on Residential Street during the heyday of the movie release, waving to guests on the passing Backlot Tour trams.
