Disney has confirmed that Impressions de France and Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along are expected to reopen on May 10, 2026, at EPCOT's France Pavilion.

Both shows are closed for refurbishment, which started on February 22, 2026. The nearly three-month closure affects the entire Palais du Cinéma theater.

Impressions de France previosuly operated from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM to 8:45 PM. Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along fills the remaining hours. Disney has not announced whether this schedule will continue after the refurbishment.

Theater closures of this length typically involve projection system upgrades, seating repairs, or technical improvements.

Impressions de France has been at EPCOT since the park opened in 1982. The 18-minute film showcases French landscapes and architecture set to classical music. Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along was added to the theater in 2020, creating a rotating schedule between the two films.

I hope the new seats are more amenable to napping than the old.

Has anyone gone to the film yesterday (or planning to today) who can tell us if anything changed during the refurb?

It’s such a beautiful experience. I went to France as a teen as part of a multi European country summer abroad education trip and I got to visit some of the places in the film and it really strikes a chord with me emotionally. It’s a France of time gone by to be sure, but it makes me nostalgic for a version of a place I never saw until later.

It's truly a piece of art

In all of our travels we’ve never done this. My wife and I are thinking of coming for Food and Wine and may need to rectify this.

Well, you dont need me to defend my stance. Disney is doing that for me by keeping the old schedule.

Mr. Sullivan5 days ago

It is. It’s one of the best attractions at EPCOT.

It appears Impressions de France and Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along reopen a day early - operating hours are now showing for today:

Its ok. I have the generic Disney theme park tourist patrons, whom I dont usually care for, to back me up on this one. 😂 and this is the only case I will ever use them as an excuse and agree with them. Me hating the travelogue films in Epcot is my only unpopular opinion on these threads. Lemme have it.

I have seen impressions 100s of times. I am okay now. 😂 I feel the same about Reflections of China... I just never got into the travelogue film stuff. Thats the only retro epcot stuff I am not passionate about. Now, O Canada with Martin Short? I enjoyed that one. The new one? Meh. I'd take Maelstrom and El Rio Del Tiempo any day, tho. Sad that those had to go but we still have these old movies.

Childhood me told my parents “I don’t want to go in any of those buildings they look boring” - those buildings being original figment and horizons. But we rode the omnibus around world showcase and watched illuminations 1.0 so I can at least brag about that!
