A photo-realistic scrim wrap has appeared on Haunted Mansion's exterior at Magic Kingdom, suggesting the refurbishment work could be in place for an extended period.
The large printed panel shows a photo of the Mansion's facade and has been installed across a section of the green scrim covering. Disney typically uses decorative wraps like this when construction or refurbishment work is expected to last long enough to warrant softening the visual impact for guests.
No completion date has been announced for the exterior restoration. The scope of the scrim coverage continues to grow, with more of the facade now covered than when work first began.
The attraction is operating as normal throughout the refurbishment. Guests can still ride and access the queue without disruption.
The work comes alongside the major construction activity surrounding the Mansion for the upcoming Cars and Villains Land projects, making this corner of Magic Kingdom one of the busiest construction zones in Walt DIsney World right now.
