Guardians of the Galaxy: Heroes of Xandar Collection

Inspired by the vintage concert merchandise of the 1980s, the Guardians of the Galaxy: Heroes of Xandar Collection imagines the gear and memorabilia fans would collect during the Guardians’ fictional intergalactic tour.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Through the Eyes of Quill Collection

The Guardians of the Galaxy: Through the Eyes of Quill Collection is reminiscent of Peter’s younger years on Earth and his first trip to Walt Disney World, featuring the retro graphics and bold colors that were popular in the 1980s.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – Honorary Guardians Collection

The Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – Honorary Guardians Collection, which features the Honorary Guardian emblem and navy/gold colors, is the perfect way to celebrate your achievement in style.

Groot Through the Years Collection

The new Groot Through the Years Collection illustrates the sentient tree-like creature’s evolution from baby to adolescent to adult through a range of toys, home décor and children’s apparel. Say it with me: “I am Groot!”

OK. Sorry, didn't have a lot of sleep yesterday, slow on the uptake.

I think he meant odd suppository, like rectal suppository as it is a laxative ;)

It was a joke: https:///2025/03/guest-defecation-shuts-down-disney-ride-for-third-time-this-month-em1/

That's an odd supposition...

Maybe someone defecated near it, and the fumes weakened the glass's molecular structure!

JABApr 13, 2025

That's not true. Tempered glass is very susceptible to focused impacts. That's why those emergency escape tools with a tiny metal point will shatter a car's window with very little force, and why a great many tempered glass PC case side panels have shattered simply by laying them on a tile floor because one of the tiles' corners was sticking up. If something hard and pointed hit it in the right way, it wouldn't have necessarily taken much force at all.

If someone was wearing something like a metal ring and hit it in the right place, especially near a corner, it is possible to break the glass rather easily.

The building is just settling on a sink hole.

Definitely not a punch, but a metal water bottle strapped to a backpack whipping around could generate a lot of power.

Giss NericApr 12, 2025

Shattering tempered glass requires a huge amount of force so I'm not sure if someone punching the glass is true.

bmr1591Apr 11, 2025

I’m eager to hear how that happened. Someone lean on it with too much weight? A flying water bottle?

The VQ system has finally ended today for GOTG: CR! Standby line starts tomorrow Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The VQ system was reportedly supposed to end multiple times during some lull periods, but never came to fruition. It went through 2 hurricane closures, but nearly 3 years later after the ride opened May 27, 2022, the VQ has concluded and standby is finally here. Scatterplot of every single VQ data point collected for the past 1002 days. Here's my final update for it and wrap-up post:

I for one hope that one day they can find a way to add railings within the pre-show spaces to reduce the pain point that is the funnel at the end. Ideally, it would be tiered "rows" within the preshow space where a CM then can release each section one by one instead of the mass release. I also think Disney should really enforce kicking people out of line who exit the preshow early to get a headstart.
