No Cinco de Mayo return for the Three Caballeros at EPCOT'S Gran Fiesta Tour

Today may be Cinco de Mayo, but hopes for a return of the Gran Fiesta Tour's animatronic Panchito, José Carioca, and Donald Duck were quickly dashed.

A ride through this morning still shows the cardboard stand-ins that have been in place during the refurbishment of the figures.

When the figures were removed in January, Disney stated that they would return in the spring, leading to hopes that May 5 might just be the day.

Both. Yes he is a real person. That is him in his pictures. He's definitely also the marketing profile for WDI but he's a real person too.

No, that entire verse wasn't in the ride. It always jumped straight from "What means 'ay carumba'? Oh, yes, I don't know' back to 'We're three caballeros'.

Sadly he is in Show State

We need to accept that he’s no longer broken. He is in his show state. Any further degradation is “broken”. He’s like an Adventureland fountain flowerbed.

Not sure that line was ever in the ride

Vultron. It's a Marvel thing.

I love the voice separation as you pass by the AAs... but I noticed they've cut out the "some Latin baby" line...

Who?

I picture him as this:

ToTBellHopMay 20, 2021

I believe AI has come along far enough that he believes he’s a real person.

BocabearMay 20, 2021

That is actually my question... Is he a real person or a concocted marketing profile...

Is there some way we can make the boat pause in front of this for, like, 5 minutes? You can have your Avatar Shaman. Give me these old-school AAs ANYTIME. And, yes, I want every one of the Tiki Room birds for myself.
