Walt Disney Imagineering Adds New Details to EPCOT's Germany Train Garden
New details are appearing in EPCOT's Germany Train Garden, including a miniature construction zone with tiny excavators and workers hidden behind "Please Pardon Our Pixie Dust" fencing.

Walt Disney Imagineering and the Walt Disney World Engineering Services Artist Prep team are adding new magic to the Germany Train Garden at EPCOT.

Disney has shared photos from the miniature village showing new details appearing throughout the scale-model landscape.

A "Please Pardon Our Pixie Dust" sign now sits along the green construction fencing that surrounds part of the Germany Train Garden. Behind the fence, a miniature construction zone tells its own story. Tiny excavators and construction workers sit among stacked crates and barrels, next to model train tracks running past the site.

Beyond the construction zone, several new buildings and landscape features show off the level of detail the Germany Train Garden is known for.

The model railway features multiple G-scale trains, which are among the largest model trains, ranging in size from 1:22.5 to 1:29. You can find the railway along the World Showcase promenade on the far right side of Germany.

The railway display was initially installed as a temporary exhibit for the Flower and Garden Festival but was so popular with guests that it became a permanent addition. Decorations within the railway are updated for each festival throughout the year.

Well at least they’re not getting rid of it.

On today's edition of "Things that didn't need updates but got one anyway"...

Happy this is sticking around, at least. It's a fun thing to watch.
GOOD SHOW DISNEY!

I am so happy they continue to plus a non IP, FREE, “attraction” in the park!

The construction walls are funny! WELL DONE!
Always love small updates to the main areas of the pavilions like this.

But isn't this also unusually old school Disney of them? I think it is.

Things that didn't need updates but got one anyway..... Love it! Things are not perfect at Walt Disney World, here's looking at you Lakeside Lodge, but overall I would say the good news is currently outweighing the bad news at Walt Disney World.

it's been awhile since I have felt this way.

My recent trip to Disneyland also opened my eyes quite a bit to the reality that honestly, Walt Disney World has recovered from covid far better than Disneyland did.
The construction walls....love it

Oh my, I somehow missed those two pictures! That's awesome. 🤣🤣
I’m surprised this wasn’t a D23 announcement. Maybe they’re finally going to install the Germany boat ride. 🫣
Insert a joke here about so many construction walls and moving around so much dirt that it even got to here ;)

In seriousness, this looks very cute and fun!
Ive always stopped and enjoyed looking throughout the entire display. Seems every time Ilooki Im finding some detail Ive missed before. This is a nice touch that many guests overlook/ pass by and dont take the time to enjoy. Not everything has to be a ride to bring enjoyment. And it gives those little Lizards a nice playground to wander through.
I love everything about this, well done Disney!
