Banana Ball is heading to Walt Disney World for the first time ever, bringing its wild, fast-paced version of baseball to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on May 29 and 30, 2026. The announcement was made live during the Banana Ball City Selection Show on ESPN2, ESPN+, Disney+, and the Banana Ball YouTube channel.

The event marks the debut of "The Greatest Show in Sports" at Disney, with games taking place inside The Stadium at ESPN Wide World of Sports. The 220-acre complex features more than 9,500 seats, four luxury skyboxes, and open-air suites.

Fans can expect the Loco Beach Coconuts to face off against the Party Animals, two of the most entertaining teams in the Banana Ball Championship League.

How to Get Tickets

To attend the 2026 games, fans must join the Banana Ball Ticket Lottery List at BananaBall.com by November 1, 2025. Joining the list enters you into a random drawing for a chance to buy tickets when they become available. Standard tickets start at $35.

Joining the list does not guarantee ticket access, but it's the only way to get a shot at seats for this high-demand event.

What Makes Banana Ball Different

Banana Ball flips baseball's traditions upside down. The pace is faster, the rules are looser, and the entertainment factor is nonstop.

Some of the standout rules include:

  • Foul balls caught by fans count as outs.
  • Players can steal first base.
  • No bunting - ever.
  • A two-hour time limit keeps the action moving.

With dance breaks, trick plays, and plenty of fan interaction, the sport has become a hit across the country, filling major league stadiums like Fenway Park and Angel Stadium.

Where to Watch

Can't make it to Disney? Banana Ball games will air next season on ESPN+, Disney+, ESPN2, and other ESPN platforms. A full list of tour stops and broadcast details is available on BananaBall.com.

It's when you jump off one of the boats in "Living with the Land", steal a banana, and then jump back in the boat before getting caught. No not really. Well. Maybe, kind of - you just do some type wierd gyration and then a flip to get you back in the boat.

We're a Brewers house. Luckily, not the case for us this year.

Quite a few Yankee games I watched this year could have been classified as Banana Ball.

Yeah I would expect this opinion. Baseball is boring as hell to me. it's long and its the only sport I've been to where most of the game has the fans out of the seats and in the stores because it was so boring. Banana Ball makes a more interesting version of it appealing to a younger audience. It's fun, light-hearted, and its a show like the Harlem Globetrotters but an actual game as well. You can still watch regular baseball even but for a Disney property, this show makes far more sense.

If you’re interested in Disney parks (obviously) look up the owner and the history of the company. The savanah bananas are 100% privately owned - the owner loves and frequently references Walt Disney and the way he built Disneyland. He always says “fans first” and created his own ticket platform with no extra fees so fans only pay the listed price (he did this way before the laws changed.) At the home games in Savanah (where they have total control) - all food and drinks are free. This guy has built something incredible in 10 years. i saw him speak at iaapa last year.

Said another way baseball is a boring, stupid, tedious “banana ball game”. America’s past time? More like America’s past its prime.

Banana ball is going to Nyland stadium in Knoxville with this expansion. Seats 100K and tickets starting at $750 for the game. Big bucks being made here

Only recently have Bananas been doing big venues. It's an amazing time seeing them at small venues like Grayson Stadium. Heck of a lot more fun to watch than the old Savannah Sand Gnats who I used to go see growing up :)

Except not quite. They have unique rules and yes scripted dances and entertainment moments, but the baseball is all real, each team wants to win the game. And the owner is an amazing man who continues to innovate to bring these shows to the fans while staying true to what’s been created. There’s a reason they sell out all their games.

We’re referring to the secondary tour hitting mostly minor league parks and not featuring the Bananas but the alternate teams only.
