According to Metro newspaper in Puerto Rico, a group of investors led by entrepreneur Michael Poma is attempting to grow Puerto Rico's presence from a Food and Wine kiosk to a full permanent pavilion by 2017.

The article reveals that Puerto Rico has a three year deal for the Food and Wine marketplace kiosk which opened with this year's festival, and then is looking to invest $100 million between 2017-2027 to establish the permanent Puerto Rico Epcot Pavilion.

This would not be the first time that a country has been linked with a new pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase, although none have been so far successful in progressing beyond the discussion phase.
