EPCOT"S new main entrance fountain looks to be complete but remains behind construction walls today.

The new fountain has been under construction now for over a year, and leaders have said that it will debut before the end of 2020.

So it looks better aesthetically, the park is far more of a thematic black hole now than it was then and that's really far more important in the long run.

I don't know about that. While the reworking of the area formerly known as Future World has involved some significant mistakes and has been underwhelming in other respects, they really put a lot of effort into messing it all up during the late-1990s and early-2000s by sticking all sorts of unnecessary decorations around and going wild with the paint scheme.
