Walt Disney World will extend its Independence Day celebration in 2026 with three consecutive nights of fireworks at Magic Kingdom.

The nighttime spectacular Disney's Celebrate America! - A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will light up the skies July 3, 4, and 5, as part of the company's larger "Disney Celebrating America" initiative honoring the nation's 250th anniversary.

For the first time, guests will be able to experience the patriotic fireworks display on three nights instead of the traditional two.

Part of Disney's 250th Anniversary Celebration

The expanded fireworks schedule ties into Disney Celebrating America, a company-wide initiative running from Veterans Day 2025 through July 4, 2026. The celebration highlights the country's 250th anniversary through storytelling, entertainment, and special events across Disney's parks, networks, and platforms.

Robert A. Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, said the project "honors both a nation and a spirit that never stop dreaming about what's next." The celebration will include new park experiences, television specials, and community support programs recognizing veterans and local heroes.

Additional 250th Anniversary Celebration Highlights

  • Soarin' Across America: Debuting summer 2026 at EPCOT and Disney California Adventure, this all-new version of Soarin' will showcase the United States "from sea to shining sea."
  • Nationwide Broadcast: On July 4, Disney will host a 24-hour cross-network event, Disney Celebrates America, featuring live coverage of anniversary events and a special fireworks broadcast from both coasts.
  • New Merchandise: A patriotic line of apparel and collectibles will be available at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, and DisneyStore.com beginning May 2026.

I was going to nitpick about having a July 4th fireworks show on July 2nd, but then I remembered they celebrate Halloween in August so this isn't egregious by Disney standards ;)

Now all we need is a *good* 4th of July fireworks show. But far be it for me, a pixie duster shill, to be critical of anything Disney.

I feel like the missed opportunity here, was in not creating a new show specifically for this.

I would buy all 3 if they had t-shirts. Or pins. Just to see how small the font would need to be on the pins...

Sorry no, not happening as far as I know.

Starship824Oct 20, 2025

Are you saying that's what they're planning?

How a month-long tag, Peace on Earth style? They have a great platform to do it.

Missed opportunity to market it as 'Disney's Semiquincentennial Great American Celebration!' with branded merch I would totally buy up 😩😂 The 54th anniversary of Disney World could've been the Quinquagenary Quadrennium!

Is there a reason why Epcot can't have 3 Nights as well?
