The 2026 Fourth of July fireworks at Walt Disney World and Disneyland will be part of a nationwide television and streaming broadcast celebrating America's 250th anniversary. The presentation will cap off Disney Celebrates America, a 24-hour, multi-platform event airing across Disney's networks and streaming services on July 4, 2026.
Fireworks Featured in a Coast-to-Coast Broadcast
The day-long special will conclude with a fireworks broadcast from Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park. Disney has not confirmed whether the fireworks segments will air live or as pre-recorded presentations, but they will serve as the finale of the national celebration.
Coverage will air across Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX, and National Geographic. World News Tonightanchor and managing editor David Muir will lead the event, joined by ABC News anchors, ESPN commentators, and National Geographic Explorers reporting from across the country.
Part of Disney's "Celebrating America" Initiative
The fireworks broadcast is part of Disney Celebrating America, a company-wide initiative running from Veterans Day 2025 through July 4, 2026, commemorating the nation's 250th anniversary through entertainment, storytelling, and special events.
Highlights of the initiative include:
- Expanded Fireworks at the Parks: Disney's Celebrate America! -- A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will be presented July 3-5, 2026, at both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park.
- Soarin' Across America: A new version of the attraction debuts summer 2026 at EPCOT and Disney California Adventure.
- Cross-Company Programming: Special patriotic series and features will appear across ABC, ESPN, National Geographic, and other Disney platforms throughout the year.
The nationwide broadcast will bring the Fourth of July fireworks from both coasts to audiences everywhere, closing out Disney's historic salute to America's 250th anniversary.
