With the official showtimes for Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away now confirmed, Disney has adjusted the operating hours at Magic Kingdom. Starting July 20, the park will remain open until 11:00 pm nightly through at least August 2, 2025.

This extension allows time for the two scheduled nightly performances of the new parade - at 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm - and provides guests more flexibility to experience evening entertainment and attractions. Happily Ever After Fireworks will perform at 10 pm.

Previously, Magic Kingdom was scheduled to close at 10:00 pm during this time period. The new closing time aligns with the 11 pm performance of Disney Starlight, helping to accommodate crowds and improve guest flow following the parade. View upcoming Walt Disney World operating hours.

It’s probably sitting in some warehouse. Maybe on the back burner if Starlight goes the way of Light Magic lol. Just kidding I hope.

If they do debut on the 18th, based on cms being blocked out that day, is this something we will know a few days prior? or day of?

It sure has been a roller coaster to say the least lol. I still remember @ToTBellHops post saying Coming to a Magic Kingdom near you in regards to Paint The Night coming to WDW lol. Was it ever a real consideration? Did DL not want WDW to have it? Did WDW not want it? I hope one day we find out the truth how everything played out.

I hear for the MK's 50th Anniversary, they're thinking about bringing back a nighttime electric light parade!!

This Rumor(not Starlight, more general) has been around forever, and always ended with nothing. I thought with that Thread from 2 years ago when we were thinking Something would be in MK in 2024. I thought we were on track but wasn't Proven till D23 2024. Did EU help push This to 2025??Do we really know???... 2 Weeks to go and it still seems unbelievable...I want a Peek from the Contempo! LOL!!!!!!

I remember a couple of years ago a post saying "There are things happening with nighttime parades" from Steve and from then on the speculation began. We slowly got more information and then it was announced last year and here we are. Two weeks away from something we haven't seen at the magic Kingdom in 9 years. A parade the world hasn't seen. Let the hype train begin! (And may it be driven by Goofy!) https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/msep-ending-at-disneyland-on-sept-1-wdw-return-in-2023.978090/post-10563272
