The long-awaited return of a nighttime parade to Magic Kingdom is finally here. 'Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away' made its debut tonight in an early soft opening, marking the first new nighttime parade at Walt Disney World in over a decade.
Watch the full parade video below.
The new parade brings together characters from Disney and Pixar films in a fully illuminated spectacle led by the Blue Fairy. New characters making their nighttime parade debut include Asha from Wish, the Madrigal family from Encanto, and Miguel and Pepita from Coco. Classic characters like Cinderella, Belle, and Aurora appear alongside Moana, Elsa, and more.
The finale float, "Whimsy," introduces a new original character, a starlight-powered train engine that carries multiple characters in a vibrant and colorful finale. The parade also includes a tribute to SpectroMagic, with an all-new animated Jiminy Cricket waving goodbye from the final float.

Disney has previously announced that Disney Starlight will officially open on July 20, 2025, performing nightly at 9 pm and 11 pm, except on Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights. The parade begins on Main Street and travels toward Frontierland.
