Disney won two 2025 IAAPA Brass Ring Excellence Awards, with Disneyland Paris's "Disney Tales of Magic" and Disney Cruise Line's "Disney The Tale of Moana" taking home honors in live entertainment categories.

IAAPA announced the 2025 IAAPA Brass Ring Awards winners on February 5, recognizing excellence across the global attractions industry.

Disney's Winning Productions

Disneyland Paris's "Disney Tales of Magic" won Most Creative Spectacle, beating Walt Disney World's "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" and Disneyland Resort's "World of Color Happiness."

Disney Cruise Line's "Disney The Tale of Moana," performed on the Disney Treasure, won Most Creative Theatrical Production - Year-Round Operation. The show competed against productions from Puy Du Fou España.

Walt Disney Imagineering shared the wins on social media, celebrating the cast, crew, creative partners, and Disney Live Entertainment teams behind both productions.

Magic Kingdom's Starlight Show Misses Out

Walt Disney World's "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" at Magic Kingdom did not win in the Most Creative Spectacle category. The nighttime show debuted in 2024 as part of the park's entertainment lineup.

Disneyland Paris's "Disney Tales of Magic" features projections, pyrotechnics, and lighting effects on Sleeping Beauty Castle. The show incorporates stories from Disney films with music and visual effects.

Disney Cruise Line Production Recognized

"Disney The Tale of Moana" performs in the Walt Disney Theatre aboard the Disney Treasure. The theatrical production retells the story of Moana with live performers, sets, and costumes.

The show won in the year-round theatrical production category, competing against permanent productions at international attractions.

Other Disney Nominations

Disney received additional nominations across multiple categories but did not win in those areas. Tokyo Disney Resort's "The Villains' Halloween... 'Into The Frenzy Parade'" was nominated for Most Creative Halloween Production.

Disneyland's "Key to Disneyland" merchandise item was nominated for Best Custom Retail Souvenir. Disney Consumer Products received a nomination in sustainability for its Figurine Set Sustainable Packaging Program.

The Brass Ring Awards recognize attractions industry professionals for creativity and operational excellence. IAAPA will celebrate all winners at IAAPA Honors, May 12-14 in Xcaret, Mexico.

Yes and I certainly do not expect them to make such a small change. Just an observation and one that only a small few will notice I’m sure.

It’s a night parade. They could still light it in pink if they wanted to. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Now that the castle is no longer pink are they going to change all the Starlight ads and billboards that show a pink castle? Lol. Do we get a new release of the music album since the castle is pink in the cover art? Park version of the music please 🤣.
