Disney Springs Waterview Park Is Back Open — New Shade Canopy Installed and Entertainment Returning Tonight

Waterview Park at Disney Springs has reopened to guests today.

The live music venue, located between Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar and The Boathouse across from Wine Bar George, is now open with a brand new shade canopy covering the seating area. Live entertainment returns tonight starting at 6pm.

The finished structure is a substantial addition to the space. A dark wood frame with heavy metal bolted bracket detailing supports multiple panels of a warm tan shade sail material stretched across the seating area. The curved design follows the shape of the venue and gives the space a covered, open-air feel without fully enclosing it.

From inside the venue, the canopy panels fan out from a central ridge along the wooden beams, providing overhead coverage across most of the seating area. The open sides mean guests still get views toward the lake and the surrounding area, while the canopy overhead offers protection from the Florida sun.

The covered seating also makes Waterview Park a practical spot to sit down with food from nearby Disney Springs dining spots. If you've picked up a cookie from Gideon's Bakehouse or a snack from Six Ravens, this is a solid place to settle in — especially now that there's shade overhead.
