Disney has installed signage at the Disney Springs bus loop ahead of the June 28 start date for the new resort hotel transportation verification policy.
The blue A-frame signs are positioned at the bus loop and clearly state that from June 28, Walt Disney World transportation from Disney Springs to Disney Resort hotels will only be available to guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel, or those visiting one with a valid dining or experience reservation.
In addition to the bus service, Disney has also confirmed that the policy will extend to water taxi service on the Sassagoula River to resort hotels.
To use Walt Disney World transportation from Disney Springs to resort hotels from June 28, you will need one of the following:
- An active Walt Disney World resort hotel reservation
- A confirmed dining reservation at a resort hotel
- A confirmed experience reservation, such as a boat cruise
The policy follows successful trials during the New Year's and Easter periods, where Cast Members scanned MagicBands at the Disney Springs bus loop to verify guest reservations. The verification process helps free up transportation capacity and addresses guests using Disney Springs parking to access resort buses without paying theme park parking fees.
