Walt Disney World has confirmed that reservation verification for guests boarding resort hotel buses at Disney Springs will resume on June 28, 2026.
The news confirms what WDWMAGIC sources reported earlier, that Disney planned to make the verification process a permanent, standard operating practice ahead of the July 4 holiday week.
Cast Members at the Disney Springs bus loop will scan MagicBands or cards to confirm you have a valid reservation before boarding. You will need one of the following:
- An active Walt Disney World resort hotel reservation
- A confirmed dining reservation at a resort hotel
- A confirmed recreation activity, such as a boat cruise
Disney previously trialed the verification process during the New Year's and Easter periods, with the Easter trial described internally as a success in freeing up transportation capacity and addressing guests using Disney Springs parking to access theme park buses without paying park parking fees.
If you don't have a verified reservation, you won't be able to board resort hotel buses from Disney Springs.
