Starting today, Disney Springs will be testing extended hours and late night entertainment in The Landing.

Thursday through Saturday during March 2018, there will be a live DJ on the stage next to The Boathouse from 10pm, and all locations will be staying open until at least 1:30am, with the extended Disney Springs hours officially running through to 2am.

Along with the waterside DJ, The Edison, Enzo's Hideaway, Morimoto Asia, STK Orlando, Raglan Road, and Paradiso 37 will also be offering their own entertainment from around 10pm.

Pizza Ponte, Vivoli Il Gelato, Joffery’s Coffee and D-Luxe Burger will also be staying open late, with D-Luxe offering a special late night menu which includes a donut burger.

No, this is not why they did what they have done.

There is currently a DJ and Band Thur-Fri at the Edison (old Adventure's Club) 9pm-2am... Although it is thematic (electro-swing) early in the night the DJ does play full range of top 40 and Oldshool hits to dance to until close. A fun party for sure! AND starting this week Morimoto's Asia (old Mannequin Dance Palace) now has DJs playing House Music and Asian World Beats for a sexy, sophisticated cocktail lounge experience from 10:30-2am on Thur-Sat. Very cool, and hopefully they will allow the energy to grow as the crowd does. It is great to have dancing back in that area!

They will run a late schedule on those days. Just like they used to when Pleasure Island was open.

Presumably the buses will run late accordingly?

Does anyone know if there is any truth to what a bartender told me several years ago. She said that WDW historically limited hotel bars from staying open late due to complaints from wives saying Disney let my husband get drunk and now he’s too hung over to go to the parks with the kids. And, no she wasn’t directing the comment towards me - at that time anyway.😀

Pleasure Island v2... Disney really does need some late night options beyond Jellyrolls and that ish.

I hope it does well and becomes a regular thing.
