Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! Showtimes Released for May 26 Debut

Disney has released showtimes for Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, the new stage show debuting May 26 at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The 20-minute show will run eight times daily:

Morning

10:15 am
11:05 am
11:55 am

Afternoon

12:45 pm
2:35 pm
3:30 pm
4:20 pm

Evening

5:10 pm

Showtimes are scheduled at roughly 50-minute intervals throughout the day.

Disney describes the show as a stage production inspired by the Disney Jr. series "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+." It features upbeat original songs, interactive elements for younger guests, and appearances by Disney characters.

According to the official description, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse welcome guests to Mickey's house for a party. Their friends Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto haven't arrived yet, so Mickey and Minnie take the party on the road to find them, building to a high-energy finale once everyone is together.

The show takes place in the Walt Disney Studios courtyard area, which also opens May 26.

Tangled was released during the post-Avatar 3D boom, so I assume it was easy to find an existing poster that gave the effect that the character was coming off the page. I’m sure there were others that could have worked, but it makes enough sense here.

Tangled only makes sense if it's promoting the Rapunzel M+G in the land. But then it's odd both of the posters don't feature M+G characters? If they wanted an older movie that's still relevant to the land, Alice in Wonderland is getting a playground, why not go with that?

They look nice, tangled an odd choice, would have rather had another classic or one of the films created at the park being more fitting next to the animation building. But I guess that would have been too much of a nod to the parks history, they only go so far with this stuff.

The billboards look ridiculous. They could have had actual elements to beyond the frame instead of clumsily trying to hide them.

“Over time” sure. Nothing lasts forever. But these are not temporary ads like they were before. They are legacy posters that will likely be around a while.

I think it is a huge win for this area that the “posters” are now part of the design and not billboards available for rent by other divisions of the Disney company. It would have been nice if they had chosen stitch instead of tangled for the “modern” poster as a nod to a movie that was animated right there.
