the one at Cali Grill? How was it?

I was tempted to book it for now/tonight (plenty of good seats still available) I got roped into this “50th anniversary” dinner thing at contemporary instead

I would definitely consider this show for an “off day.” What better way to spend an off day than relaxing watching a show?

I thought about this for one of our off days when we plan to go to DS for dinner......But my wife and I thought it would be just too much given the rest of our schedule. We truly want our off days to be OFF and we sit around the pool and snack. That said for anyone on the fence or who has never seen Cirque my experience has been that it is a really awesome show and something the whole family can enjoy. If in 3-5 years we may make it back, and this or similar is showing we would probably go.

I wouldn't want to sit in the front seats, I did it for my first trip to La Nouba and my neck was stiff from looking up, especially the high up acts. I'd rather be back in the cheaper seats.

Yes And yes…it’s a little better of a deal on second look The discount is on the “cheap” seats…so better 👍🏻

Lol feel better now?? Okay back to cirque, 15 bucks discount each on 5 tickets?? 75 bucks, and I'm firmly in the "every little bit helps" so yep, I'll take my "little " discount

There isn’t much difference. I think even in a place so expensive…companies are trying to “hold the line” on pricing. And I just noticed (anecdotal) that people I speak with who NEVER mentioned a dollar in years or decades are starting to make mention/faces. This really isn’t a complaint against Disney/cirque…more general sense. Companies - holy dividends be damned - seem to be holding on to their covid money spike in prices - even if much of it Is necessary to offset their costs. But the margin above it’s gonna have to go. Disney should be on recession price footing already. And it’s not that simple as for me to just say it - granted - but there’s a pure intellectual truth in it. We’re watching Joe B struggle in his twilight to phrase it right. But let’s be clear: there is price gouging going rampant on top of the costs. That takes many forms. In Disney it’s they're using reduced staffing to attempt to squeeze nickels out of the customers and that’s a huge reason why the parks are described as mobs and the dissatisfaction level is the largest ever. That’s not up to debate if what we’re getting leaked from guest services is true. Why are gas prices so high? A big reason is the domestic companies are controlling the extraction and refinery output. Yes…what the saudis do to us all the time. The American flag should be banned from being flown above an Exxon. And why? Playing a political game of chicken trying to get enviro regs that have NOTHING really to do with the covid financial fallout at all…old talking points with the same old story of trying to get deregulation. Since I work in the environmental field…I’ll be the “expert” here and tell you that is 100% Bull. Ahhh…I gotta put my train back on the tracks now…

I'm going the last week in September (using Disney+ 25% off resort discount), so this fits within my timeframe. Something I just may want to build in.

I appreciate the effort. But it is a token one… So like a 5% type thing?

My seat was pretty close to this - it was last row at top of the first tier and it was great. I really enjoyed the show. I did. not know about the same day half price deal - that would have been nice, but I enjoyed it so was glad to spend the money.
