Character meet and greets with Disney Princesses and other face characters have returned to normal at Disneyland Paris. The news is reported by @DLPReport.

Guests are now allowed to hug face characters at the Disneyland Paris theme parks, a return to pre-pandemic protocols.

This latest change comes a month after Disneyland Paris removed physically distancing from fur character meet and greets.

Disneyland Paris no longer requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination before entry, a change that was introduced on March 14, 2022, the same policy as at Walt Disney World.

At Walt Disney World, physical distancing remains in place at all character meet and greets, even those that take place outdoors.

The only exception to the rule is at Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, where guests are able to directly interact with fur and face characters with no restrictions.

Disney is yet to make any announcements about a return of normal meet and greets at Walt Disney World, but with COVID conditions continuing to improve, they can't be that far away.

Much better to put the same characters in three different restaurants.

Encanto character dining would sell. They’re always late to the party.

About damn time. But knowing WDW we’re probably just gaining another Adventure Friend

Walt Disney World has posted a new casting call seeking Disney Character Look-alikes for the role of Luisa as depicted in the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Encanto.

They wouldn’t just randomly put them on the schedule with no announcement…you’ll know when/if they’re coming back otherwise.

Looks like July's Schedule is out.......No Trolley Dancers!! When are they supposed to Return??? Or were they cut at the last second like Castle Dreamlights??????

Not in a couple of decades, as far as I know. That ended with Walt Disney Entertainment's reorganization in 2001, or so I'm pretty sure. And they only had control of characters for maybe 10-20 years - before that they were separate as well (fairly sure, sources from the early decade or so of Disneyland are hard to find, and that even extends to opening years of MK).

No Clang Clang on Main Street yet..........Sigh! We know you can do this MK!!!!!!!
