Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is operating today with the following hours:
- Early Entry: 7:30am to 8am
- Regular hours: 8am to 11pm
- Extended Evening Hours: 11pm to 1am
The attraction is available through the regular standby line. Lightning Lane entry is also available with the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
What's New
The attraction closed in August 2025 for a major refurbishment that brings new scenes, redesigned vehicles, upgraded blasters, and more responsive gameplay tech to Tomorrowland.
The opening sequence has been completely reworked to introduce Buddy, a new support robot created by Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar. Buddy prepares Space Rangers for their mission with system checks and encouragement before you head into space.
Ride vehicles now have Star Command styling and onboard screens displaying real-time scoring. Handheld blasters replace the original fixed versions, offering better aim with vibration, sound effects, and an always-on laser to help you track your shots.
Interactive targets throughout the attraction now react and light up when hit, giving clearer feedback during gameplay.
The new marquee featuring a Space Mountain-style white spire is complete at the entrance, and the updated PhotoPass image includes detailed scoring breakdowns for each rider.
