I'm going to be there for a quick trip July 17-21, and I'm really hoping they extend the hours on those nights.

Well, the AP Summer Room discount seems to have sold out. Still, there are other discount/rewards available. For now. See, that's the thing with these kind of discounts. If attendance is low, you can still move some levers to fill it. These may not be high-yield guests, but, they're still squeezable.

I have a feeling July is going to be extremely slow especially with no DAK or Studios extensions.

Sometimes they’ll close a park early, for a corporate buyout or CM event. But I don’t think they’ve done that after posting park hours. At least, not under the “new” system of posting park hours about 6 weeks ahead. Often it’s when @DCBaker posts the park hours with a 4pm closing that we find out about a special event. Or when someone gives a heads up about a CM event about 2 months ahead.

spectromagic04May 29, 2026

That’s because they went on previous years data to predict crowds. Now they use the reservation system and not so much historical data

Hours used to be set 6 months in advance and were very rarely changed. It was awesome for planning.

BrianMay 29, 2026

No, that's why they post the minimum acceptable hours for that day, then extend later as warranted.
