Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is now closed for its annual refurbishment.
The update on Disney's official website states:
"Disney's Blizzard Beach water park is currently unavailable. During this time, we encourage you to visit Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park."
Guests had their last chance to visit Blizzard Beach on Sunday, September 7, 2025, before the temporary closure began. Typhoon Lagoon will remain open daily as the only Disney water park in operation for the time being.
While past seasonal closures have typically rotated between Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, Disney has not yet shared a reopening date for Blizzard Beach or details on any refurbishment work planned during this downtime.
Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel will continue to receive complimentary water park admission on their check-in day. With Blizzard Beach closed, this perk now applies exclusively to Typhoon Lagoon.
This summer was the first time since 2019 that both Disney water parks operated together, with Blizzard Beach reopening May 21, 2025, to join Typhoon Lagoon. That dual operation continued through September 7, offering expanded capacity during the busy summer water park season.
