Little Mermaid Attraction Reopens Early Following Refurbishment at Magic Kingdom

Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid at Magic Kingdom appears to have reopened ahead of its scheduled July 27 return. As of 7 pm on July 25, the attraction is listed with posted wait times in the My Disney Experience app, indicating that it is available to guests.

The ride was originally planned to be closed from July 21 through July 26 for routine maintenance, with no significant changes to the show scenes or ride system expected.

Located in Fantasyland, Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid takes guests through scenes from Disney’s 1989 animated classic with animatronics, music, and colorful undersea sets.

Are you able to clarify if the ride is reopening on the 26th or 27th? BlogMickey seems to think otherwise and got communication from Disney that it'll reopen on the 26th. Your article says 27th however! @wdwmagic
