Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid is now closed for refurbishment at Magic Kingdom.
Disney added a notice to the attraction's official web page today stating "Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid is currently closed for refurbishment. Please check back here for updates."
The wording suggests an unknown reopening date. However, operating hours are still listed starting tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026.
This matches the previously posted schedule showing a one-day closure on Feb. 11 with a Feb. 12 reopening.
The short-notice closure and brief duration point to unplanned maintenance requiring immediate work.
Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid opened in December 2012 in Fantasyland. The dark ride features Audio-Animatronics and music from the 1989 animated film.
