Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid at Magic Kingdom will close for a brief refurbishment this month.

The Fantasyland dark ride is listed as closed on February 11, 2026, reopening to guests on February 12, 2026.

Disney has not announced what work will take place during the closure. The short notice and one-day duration suggest unplanned maintenance that requires immediate attention.

Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid opened in December 2012 as part of the Fantasyland expansion. The slow-moving dark ride takes you through scenes from the 1989 animated film using Audio-Animatronics and music from the movie.
