Two Magic Kingdom shows are confirmed to return for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2026 at Magic Kingdom. Disney Live Entertainment has posted casting calls for both Frozen Holiday Surprise and Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration.

Frozen Holiday Surprise

Disney Live Entertainment is seeking actors local to Central Florida for Frozen Holiday Surprise, performed live at Magic Kingdom.

The show brings Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf to Magic Kingdom, culminating in Queen Elsa transforming Cinderella Castle into a glimmering palace of ice.

Disney is casting three roles:

  • Anna — 5'3" to 5'7". Quirky, fun-spirited, with great comedic timing
  • Elsa — 5'3" to 5'7". Elegant, sincere, and caring, with a confident stage presence
  • Kristoff — 5'10" to 6'2". Warmhearted and quick-witted, with strong comedic timing

Online submissions close May 25, 2026 at 11:30pm ET. Potential in-person callbacks are scheduled for July 24 in Orlando, with candidates notified by June 10 if selected.

Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration

Disney Live Entertainment is also accepting online submissions from dancers for Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration, the castle forecourt stage show that's a highlight of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The show features Mickey and friends performing holiday songs and choreography on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2026

With casting underway for both shows, along with the previously confirmed return of Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2026 is shaping up to have a familiar entertainment lineup.

Disney has not yet announced dates, pricing, or ticket sales for the event. Last year, details were released July 9 with tickets going on sale July 16. The 2025 event sold out every single night, with prices ranging from $169 to $229 per person, plus tax.

Expect a similar — or slightly higher — price range for 2026. Watch WDWMAGIC for full details as soon as they're announced.

My older grandkids are the same. Gave up naps around 2 years old. I think they’re the perfect age to enjoy this!

Our twins will never nap Today for example there up at 7am and there don’t sleep until about 10.30pm. I honestly don’t no how they do it 😂 I normally need more sleep than them lol

It depends on how late your twins generally stay up. We did this a few years ago with grandkids aged 5, 3, 2 and 18 months and it worked out fine for us. We did a character breakfast at Topolino’s in the morning. The older kids went to a pool in the afternoon while the younger ones napped. We entered as soon as we could and stayed probably til around 11. Ate at Cosmic Ray’s (don’t do this) and watched the castle show. The kids loved the “snow” on Main Street and their ornaments. The rides had very little waits. They especially enjoyed the parade.

Well, you'll get a $20 (or so) break on the twins' tickets, so I'd say, "Sure!" Enjoy -- just make sure the kids nap before you get there at 4:00 pm.

Is this event worth going to with 5 year old twins 🤔 We would be having a pool day before it

I'm holding out my delusional hope that the repainting of the castle is the precursor to dreamlights

Dreamlights ARE NEVER COMING BACK!!!! Just like the lights of winter ARE NEVER COMING BACK!!!!

Bring back the lights and much of the Christmas décor that was removed and never returned after Covid. He was most definitely the hold off

Disstevefan1May 12, 2026

Gotta keep up with that unprecedented demand 😉

They didn't increase MNSSHP bottom and top ticket pricing, though. Otherwise, yes, I expect it will be a similar ticketing "experience" for MVMCP.

Just like MNSSHP.

HauntedPirateMay 12, 2026

My guess is they will increase prices $10/ticket on the low and high ends, increase the number of price points, and also push more dates into the more expensive price points so they generate even more revenue.

Anyone want to start a petition to convince Jeff Vahle's backfill to bring back Dreamlights?
