Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Tom Staggs has said in an interview at Allen and Co.'s annual conference that MyMagic+ has boosted sales during recent test periods.

Reported by Bloomberg, the interview did not offer any specifics on the exact makeup of the increase in sales, but does go on to confirm that the full roll-out of MyMagic+ will take place before the end of the year. Along with MagicBands making it easier to pay for merchandise and food, Disney has also been selling customized MagicBand accessories and even MagicBand T-Shirts.

MyMagic+ combines park entry, room entry, payment, and the next generation of FASTPASS all into one wearable MagicBand or RFID ticket. It has been undergoing a progressive round of testing, with those test becoming larger in scope and including regular guests along with cast members.
