We went last Friday, and despite it being announced it was sold out (as well), I have to concur with the crowd. It didn't seem nearly as busy the Halloween party we went to (which wasn't announced as being sold out), though we did get there much later than we had wanted and barely saw the parade on Main Street. Once the parade was over, it as a mass exodus to the exit, so I'm wondering if the large crowd was mostly there for the castle lighting and parade and left? Anna and Elsa M&G was only 20 minutes, (was 200 minutes at the Halloween party we went to).

Wasn't all that satisfied with my experience but wanted to take it off my disney bucket list. I think one thing that would help is if they closed the park an hour earlier to normal day guests to give a better buffer. Having normal guests at 7 when the party starts makes for the front of the park to be crazy crowded. Once it got around 9 or 10 the crowd seemed to thin out better but at that point there were only a couple of hours left.

Tonights party is by far the least busiest I have been to this year. Mine train is about 20 min and Buzz has been a walk on.

You can still purchase tickets online for the penultimate party on the 18th, but all other dates appear to be sold out, you're right.

I was at the Poly last night filling out a few CM recognition forms from our amazing servers at 'Ohana and the CMs at the concierge desk said all MVMCP have sold out. No shows left with tickets available. Oh and I peeked behind the curtain. Shhh. The lobby looks pretty and almost done!!!

Yes first time at WDW Christmas parties and only 2nd time at Halloween parties. He doesn't meet at other times at WDW currently.

Did you attend the soiree ? My DW and I did and had a blast. The differentiation between the normal and what we experienced was worth the price to us. Reserved front of the castle observation area for two of the shows, the first parade, and a dessert seating in Cindy's heavily populated with Villains for personalized M&G's Face characters and the Queen of Hearts, A musical comdey review... and walking out through a deserted park to the last monorail of the early morning.

He was there for Halloween I know. I don't recall seeing him much during non holiday trips

We went to the party on December 7th. The rain cleared some of the crowd out after the fireworks, so we were able to just walk back on Space Mountain and Big Thunder a few times in a row. Quick question: Was this Jack Skellington's first time appearing at the Christmas parties? And how rare is he at WDW in general? Thanks for the help!

So confused and I'm not even blonde...

Yeah, I saw the parade a year ago so really wasn't that upset about it. (No Frozen theme then either). I hung around until after closing so was able to drink in more atmosphere. They did start pumping out the snow again after the rain passed.

I was there that night as well and did the same thing. I even second guessed myself for a few minutes and started to think about the early parade but in the end made the wrong choice. We just got home and are planning on sitting down as a family and watching a YouTube version of it. We missed the snow on main street as well because we started at the back of the park at 4:00 so we didn't see main street until after it was raining.
