The operating hours for dinner at 'Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort will be extended from this weekend.

Beginning March 13 2016, dinner service will begin at 3:30pm instead of 5pm, through to 10pm.

The restaurant also extended its breakfast hours last month.

I think for young families and people who want to make it Linner or Dunch, it's going to work out great. That's not a bad hour to eat a meal like that. We always go for the late reservation to watch Wishes from there, and it's a big heavy meal to have at the end of the day.

Got my reservations there for Saturday, July 16 at 6:40 (a nice normal dinner time lol). Can't wait! We eat there every trip!

No actually you didn't say anything bad about Disney you said something ridiculous.

Horizons1Mar 17, 2016

Oh, I'm sorry. Did I say something bad about Disney?

I agree with starting dinner and lunch early. I do not understand that I can get breakfast at McDonnell's, a hamburger joint, all day, but I can not get a burger till lunch time.

It's a ridiculous comment.

Yes?

I would need to eat dinner by 8 if I ate at 3:30... Crazy to me

Hey, if McDonald's can serve breakfast all day long, what's to stop other restaurants from serving dinner all day long?

Sometimes folks come to Disney World from other countries and due to jet-lag, might appreciate meal times that differ from the meal times of those of us currently on Eastern Daylight Time.

Why not start dinner at 10am?

EvilQueen-TMar 12, 2016

We take a lot of adult only trips and sometimes I go just with my 12 y/o granddaughter. We're at a point where sometimes we sleep in, eat between 2-4 pm then just grab a snack later at night so extending the hours plays well to people like us.

To be safe, yes, although the highest price point is usually reserved for holiday periods (in summer week of July 4th for example.) It will probably be closer to $50 pp.
