We stayed at the CSR this May 2011, and not only is the hotel 10 times better than I had anticipated but the food court area/restaurants were excellent too! We went to Maya Grill for breakfast on the morning of Cinco de Mayo, it was great for breakfast...I only wish we could try lunch or dinner to get more of a feel, but it was a good breakfast. My boyfriend LOVED loved the coffee! They were nice enough to make us one to go after we were finished, no charge! So sweet. The decor is great inside...huge high ceilings, stone decor/walls and little Mayan touches. Great view of the lake and outside. I love CSR and this was just one more thing on the list of things to like :)
"I was extremely disappointed here."

I stayed at the Hotel and was told this was supposed to be a good restaurant. The fact that the food was not as good as a TGIF or an Applebee's was disappointing.
The food had a very good presentation but was of poor quality, service was good. A good indication at disney world about how good a place is, is how crowded it is. Even with a convention in the hotel, this restaurant was nearly always empty.
The service was good, but the meals were not that good.
"Great Place "

We spent June of 2008 in Florida and like every year before we spent 12 days at WDW. This was the only time we've stayed at Coronado Springs. The staff and the food were fantastic. I only wish I could get the recipe for the appetizer. I can't even remember the name of it. My wife and son can be picky when it comes to new food items from new places. The appetizer disappeared bread and the dip were gone in a matter of minutes. The steaks were great. The wait staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
"A hidden gem"

The Maya Grill is a hidden gem to me and my family. Although the prices are high and some of the reviews are not so good, we like it. First off it is fast seating. They have friendly staff and good food. They give a starter for free of spicy mexican bread and regular rolls with a unique yummy sause. After that, you get to choose a apitizer, entree, and of course, dessert. The food is so big and good. You will love it. It is official, the maya grill is a hidden gem not alot of people know about.
