Disney released some
great concept art of the new Hacienda de San Angel restaurant when it was announced back in March, but we have not yet seen any views of the new building from the lagoon side, and in particular, how the outdoor piers are to be arranged. These newly obtained renderings were produced in the early stages of the project and show very clearly the two piers that extend out onto the lagoon for the outdoor seating, and the large windows that will give diners that great view out into the park, and in the evening, out onto Reflections of Earth. As the renderings were produced very early in the project, there may be some small changes, but they certainly give a very good impression of how the building will look and function on the lagoon side.
The restaurant is expected to open in September 2010, just in time for the
2010 International Food and Wine Festival.
