Roy E. Disney, chairman of Walt Disney Feature Animation and vice chairman of The Walt Disney Company, helped rededicate the Roy O. Disney train at the Magic Kingdom Park during a June 6 ceremony at the Main Street Railroad Station.

The Roy O. Disney train, which became part of the Walt Disney World Railroad on Dec. 1, 1971, has undergone a complete restoration.

Michael Campbell, a member of the board of governors of the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society (named for Walt Disney's Carolwood Pacific backyard railroad), and George Britton, foreman of the Walt Disney World Steam Train Maintenance team, also took part in the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, Roy drove the restored train from Main Street, U.S.A., to Mickey's Toontown Fair with guests and Walt Disney World Railroad Cast Members onboard. After taking photos with the Cast Members and signing autographs for guests, Roy addressed the Cast, saying, "Keep up the good work. Take good care of this beautiful train."
