Typhoon Lagoon closed today due to low temperatures

Cooler weather has hit Central Florida today, with temperatures currently around 55F.

Due to the cooler weather, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is closed today, October 30 2017. The forecast for tomorrow is warmer, which should see the park operate as normal.

Blizzard Beach is already closed for its annual refurbishment.

This. Ever go in a hot tub in the middle of the winter then jump out and roll around in the snow and then jump back in the hot tub? It's kinda like that, except not as cold, but with a much longer wait before you can get back in the water.

I don't know about you, but I have the ability to heat a pool in a small area surrounding me.

Leave it to Disney Executives to find yet another way to cut, not only costs, but, guest enjoyment, by shipping in cold air. What those folks won't do to save a buck.
