Typhoon Lagoon now closed for annual refurbishment

As the temperature start to dip in central Florida, Typhoon Lagoon has closed to begin its annual refurbishment.

Disney has it scheduled to reopen on January 6 2013, with Blizzard Beach remaining open during the refurbishment.
